Did you check with mills? I was thinking that one of the 1gs that were out there were talons, but I can't remember right now. Of course they will likely want as much as Mitsu for a new one.

And this is exactly why prices are so high on parts you cannot steal.  I've walked up to the counter with a bunch of little shit and the guy simply told me "Have a nice day"... Honesty will get you a long way, in fact just a month ago when me and Kyle were there I saw him do exactly that with a guy who walked up with a simple little part as well.

I've never had that kind of luck there. It looks like they have a computer system now that tells them what they should charge for parts for each car. Last time I was there he looked the part up and said it was $XX.35. The .35 means that he didn't pull a number out of his head. I think that is a big reason for things being more expensive. Because someone told them they should be charging more. I agree that if they can't look it up, then they will likely not worry about at. Sorry for getting off topic Mavis.

You are correct, he does have that system now. He looked up Kyles parts the same way, however when the guy walked up with whatever little part he was holding he just gave him the "Have a nice day" discount.
I'm guessing being older and such helps as well too.
