Anyone here ever resealed a windshield? Mine came loose today and I don't want to drive around with it like this. You can push the top of the windshield out over almost the entire top of it. I've seen people do it before, but I have never done it. I'll let you know how it goes. I just have to figure out what to use to reseal it.

Its called Window Weld by 3M. Works great. Father and I used it when replacing the window in his Ranger. Another thing you can do is call around to the different Glass repair shops and see what they would use. A couple of people probably do work on the side for cheaper to help you fix that. I use safelite auto glass myself.

Nope, that wasn't me. I took the trim off and found out that only about 1 foot of sealant was left holding the windshield in place. Other than that, it was only the exterior trim that was keeping the windshield in place. Getting it out wasn't too bad since it was mostly free anyway. Took the windshield out, cleaned up the body and windshield and gooped the crap out of it to put it back in. It took 1 1/2 tubes to get enough sealant on. Directions said to lay a bead 1/2 tall by 3/8 wide. Taped the windshield to keep it from wanting to slide down. Looks like it will work just fine. We will see once it is done and it rains I guess. If it was just broken and I had to completely cut the windshield out, then I would pay someone to do it, but in my case it was just time, and $40 worth of windshield adhesive. Good times....Good times...

It's mostly off now, I scraped it off of my nails and the rest is wearing off. Good idea though.

It sat out in the rain yesterday with no leak so I guess that means I'm good. Yay!

Now I can focus on the rest of my fix-it list. By the way colonel, that is one big f-ing intercooler. Has anyone ever told you that? Did that become your bumper now?

LOL!! yeah, it is actually. Slowboy messed my order up, I paid $730 for the "Street" FMIC and they sent me the "Race" FMIC. thinking about it now, I should have sent it back. Honestly too, I do want to go back to the side-mount with the 2.5" in/out, but that might prove to be expensive going that route again. I'd have to buy another bumper, side mount, and intercooler piping. I gave that stuff away to pay my friend for his help (he has a turbo AWD as well) I would like to do the water to air intercooler right in the engine bay, something small that would be extreme short route.
What consists of your "Fix-it list"?
