Hopefully next year I'll be able to make more. This is my first, and I'm sure I'll be hooked after this time.

I know a lot of people that have encouraged me to go out and have fun. I work with 4 or 5 people that will be there tomorrow.

It was fricken awesome! As you can see, I now have an action shot of my car. I improved 10 seconds overall and my last 3 runs I dropped a second off each lap. I need to do some from suspension work though. It was pushing through the turns as I got faster. The course was rough and I think I did some damage to the left front. I have a creaking in it now that wasn't there before. Overall, I'm hooked and most everyone out there I talked to was cool. I got lots of tips and advise from people. I ended up knowing more people out there that I thought I would. I was kinda disappointing that there were no other DSMs out there so I would know how I was stacking up. Maybe next yet.

There hasn't been many DSM's out there for a couple years now.

Yea, 1gs aren't the ideal platform to autocross with, but they are a good start. 2gs on the other hand have the better setup out of dsms. Right Kyle?

I saw Kyle's car out there, but I didn't run into him. I didn't run till about 2 and I don't think he stuck around that long.

HAHAHA, yet another dsm I've looked at buying in the past and someone else on the board shows up with it.
Kickerbeast- you picked that car up from a guy that works at Napa in New Haven named Lonny, right?

No, I got it from the guy that bought it from him. I bought it will the trans out of it. On of them blew the center diff and the guy I bought it from pulled the trans to replace it, only to find out later that he didn't have to do that. Any with a lot of TLC, it's back on the road again. The trans needs to be completed replaced as it has some cracks in the bellhousing. I guess at some point in time the trans bolts came loose and the trans was just flopping around in there.
