255ph will support 1000's no problem. Plenty of fuel for 500hp.

Awesome! I'm glad everybody is still working on their cars! It started getting really thin there for a bit. But I think it is starting to come back to life!

I'm in the process of putting a 1gb rear bumper on. Have it sanded down right now.

I am turning my car into a full strip car. I have quite a list of things I want to do, we'll see what gets done by next year. But the goal right now is to get the car under 2300lbs with me in it. Anything not structural will be cut out, lexan side windows, carbon fiber hatch with lexan, 1 gallon fuel cell under the hood with 255hp inline, 1 plastic drag seat, etc.. The car will be on slicks, and will be getting coilovers on the Koni-AGX combo so I can jack the weight to the front. I will either get a eprom ecu and have it socketed or have mine converted by ECMTuning and will be switching to Jackal speed density with an Ostrich. I'm looking to put Delta 272 cams in along with EvoVIII-IV springs and retainers. Putting the water/meth injection back on with one nozzle pre-turbo, and one nozzle post-turbo, pre-IC. I have FIC 1000's in it right now with a Aeromotive regulator, and will be running E-85. I'm trying to locate a BEP tdo5h turbine housing to run with a 14b and NO wastegate. My eventual goal is to go after Joe Bucci's record. A 6 point cage is in the plans at some point also.

I'm liking that list of plans quite a bit John, and knowing you, I'm sure that you'll "do work son."
werd.
my plans are to have my new car back on the road with my old motor in it before the end of the month, and for next year I'm planning on actually getting some decent mods done (not sure what I mean by that quite yet, but we'll see what happens).

Not that anyone cares but my goals are changed a bit, new goal is just to get the 2g running and driving, that is it. No more mods, you can click my sig link to see what I've got now but it isn't much. No Drag strip goal (I likely won't even race it) and no HP goal. I'm sure it will make 230ish or so but on stock fuel that is it at such low boost. Just want to have a turbo car to drive at this point. Hoping to have the money to get the motor done by January do I can drop it back in. That is about it.

Gees Corey, just keep downsizing! lol jk Plans always change.
John, I will be putting my ECMTuning EPROM coverted ECU up for sale as soon as I get my EMS if you are interested. It if for a 91 AWD but it should work for you. Only about 1500 miles on it right now. No chip installed, just ran a MAF-T on it.

I'd like a 700hp monster with lots of goodies but it's time to be realistic and such. My budget just isn't what it used to be sadly. It will be clean though.

Andy, I might be interested in that ecu as it's just what I'm looking for. I'll talk more about it with you at the meeting for Almir.

if i end up needing new rings i might just get new rods/pistons while its apart. Money depending i might get a head freshened up too, they're pretty cheap.
