JAW is the lowest priced wideband oxygen sensor reader ever. ... JAW is Just Another Wideband reader, there is nothing special about it except the price. ...

Updating the link. The old one does work anymore. Looks like they have more products now. I'll have to give this a try.

I have heard quite a few people have had problems with the JAW burning up sensors. By the time you get everything for it, you are going to be within $30 of what you can get a innovative lc1 for. Why risk it?

I haven't really looked into the LC1. I was looking at the AEM UEGO before and that was close to $250-$300 so this seemed like a better alternative

I just looked at the LC1 and it was priced like this on their site. Now I haven't shopped around though.

The basic LC-1 kit ($199) includes the LC-1, sensor, cd which includes software and manuals, bung and plug, and a serial cable to connect to the PC

The Standalone Gauge Kit ($329) includes the LC-1, sensor, XD-16 digital gauge, cd which includes software and manuals, bung and plug, and a serial cable to connect to the PC

So at $125 for the Sensor, Guage, and Translator. I still think its a good deal.

Check ebay. You can get the lc1 with gauge for under $200.

Jason's original post is over 2 years old. I thought it was odd that I saw a post from him and he hasn't been on here forever.

I was bored at lunch and looking through the links. I could argue the quality point. Although you don't really know for sure who is building this, but judging from the other items built and the warranty offered I wouldn't hesitate too much. I really like the idea of just getting the digital screen and putting it wherever I want instead of having to hack apart a gauge. I still may give it a try after xmas when I get some extra cash. I am heading everyone's warning.
