Well, I'm getting annoyed with my idle surge. It's not that bad, just unpredictable. Plus there is somewhat of an off idle stuble at times. I've decided that i'm going to try to check my base timing and then start checking anything that I can think of that would effect the idle. I have a spare IAC motor that I'm going to try as well. I would just like to get my car runnig better overall before winter hits. I have some other general things that I'm going to try to get done as well. Only thing that is a must to get the alternator tightened up. I noticed the other day that it looks like the lower bolt may be loose as the alternator moves around some. If all goes well, I would like to install my MCB as well, maybe strip the car of the AC system, fix some rattles that are driving me nuts. I am going to be in need of a timing light though, as I lost mine years ago and it would be nice to have someone there with more expertise than I do. I was a mechanic for 8 year so I know my way around, I just don't have the familiarity I need with the DSM engine management. Oh, I do have a garage and a heater so there will nobody will have to freeze. Let me know if anyone has some time. If not I'll be posting here like crazy Saturday.

Jared and I will be doing a T-belt on his wife's car, but we might be able to lend a hand after that.

You will never fix enough rattles in these cars to be satisfied, lol. It's an inherited trait.

Ok, well if anyone decides they can make it, just text me at 443-4083. The wife is heading out in the morning and that is likely when I'll start. Not sure how long in the day I'll work. Just depends on how it goes.
