I was thinking of doing what GM people use in the T-56. Mercon/Dexron III or GM Syncromesh. I have Pennzoil Syncromesh in my talon's transmission right now.
Aside from that I think I've read complaints on nearly every other fluid. So basically just find what works best in your trans, a lot of people end up with a mix.
my recomendation can get at my cost $9.95 +tax and shipping

I went ahead and got some royal purple since it was available. We will see if it works good or not. I decided against using dexron III. Just seems too thin to me.
I have the pennzoil synchromesh I was about to put in, but now I'm all nervous after hearing about all your different feedbacks lol... I think I'll throw it in since it's already purchased and see how it goes... If it sucks then I'll mabe drain it back out and try one of your "concocksions" haha
Well they say that is good for short term use. Long term use it starts to break down and loses its ability to provide protection. Everywhere that I can find that is what some are saying. Some have also said its too thin of a lubricant.
