ya, that would be nice if I had the extra cash. I'm likely going to just find a used one and rebuild it. Never seem to find any when I have some cash though. Oh well.

F'ing transmission. I went down to Muncie on wednesday and my trans to trans mount bolt managed to work itself out and on my very first pass snapped a shift fork going for third gear. Towed home and in the garage now. Stupid $22 part and a missing bolt ended the entire night for me.

Ah the old transmission breakage at Muncie. Forks and rails are pretty easy to replace, just not much fun.

Now do you mean the actual center diff or the transfer case? The center diff is inside the transmission, the transfer case bolts to the tranny which is what the driveshaft goes into.

It was the actual center diff in the trans. He pulled the trans out of it only to find out later that he didn't have to. He was about halfway through when decided he was just going to sell it.

You can split the case while still in the car but its much easier to do if the whole thing is out, especially if you need to check bearing pre-loads.

Yea, luckily this is far from the first time I've torn down a trans and a relatively easy fix all considered. Yea. Car is on E85 and about 27psi on the same turbo Krebs has. My big hold back is the stock head, 2.5" exhaust, and questionable intercooler flow. I've seen this turbo make 430 on hondas at this boost level. I think I'm probably around that at the crank and not the wheels.

Very nice. By the way, that is a sharp looking car. I saw you were parked next to me when I went to bring my car to the staging area on Sunday. Looks good, I like it.
