Did you always push the pedal only that far when you checked it? you should press it to the floor, then see if it pulls up...

Yea I got the clutch crap fixed. But it still grinned so I went back over all the master and slave. I then rechecked the pedal. I thought I shortend the rod enuff first time checked it before i pulled my tranny so I decide to remove he pedal block that stop pedal from coming forward since I not able get to shorten enuff i thought. After that was out way my pedal came forward about 1/2 inche.
I had to fix bad master cylinder.
Get clutch flush to flywheel so all that stuff fixed.
Just find one more thing was bad dont make since last i was driven car Pedel work fine. My car sat all winter and spring and now pedal takes a shit what the f*** when can I catch a brake with this car

what elsa do I have to take apart to get the clutch pedal assembly out.
I have the pivot system out with the coil spring all parts go along with it. master cylinder unbolted and 5 bolts that hold it to the tube and it still will not come out. Its loose, how do get the tube portion out or am I going to have to take every apart just to do one thing?

some body needs to get mitsubishi a hand grinder or few more. I got the pedel assembly out and found out that pedel levers have knives on the sides of them after my hands got all cut up.
I found that most common spot that pedels ware didnt on mine and the plastic bushing in side where the master cylinder connects was worn out giving the extra slop on the pedel
