UPDATE: We have a new head ready to go, and the cylinder walls are in good shape. Only two of the pistons took any abuse so we'll clean everything up and slap on the new cylinder head. Just waiting on ARP head studs now. Going with the Slowboy Pro-topline upper gasket set. All new OEM timing components and a OEM water pump.
Dave's going to go with the Eday 16g setup like mine and if it blows up we'll use his 14b he's got. After some debate he's selling his 255 walboro and aeromotive FPR setup and just going with a 190 since we still need fittings to hookup the FPR.

Just get a used Evo pump instead of a 190, flows about the same and much cheaper. Not that a 190 is bad but incase he is on a budget I figured I'd mention it.
I would have just went with OEM gasket set, but you know that.

Best of luck.
I got mine back on the road under full health today for the first time in over a year. Hopefully the same results turn up for you.

Well, I thought mine would be running today. I have it all together, so I decided to pull the valve cover and retorque the arp's and throw a fresh set of 7's in. Got that done and went to boost leak test it and have a MASSIVE boost leak. The seam of the pipe on my upper intercooler pipe split about 3 inches long. It's up underneath and it looks like a crack in the paint, but there is a massive amount of air coming from it. I was going to re-do the upper pipe for the flange for my type-s anyway, so I'm making a new upper pipe. I have it tacked together right now, so I will finish welding it in the morning. Hopefully I won't have anymore surprises.

Car won't fire and it finally threw a code - crank angle sensor. So its killing the spark. Will have a new one tomorrow.

Is it plunged in and threaded in the cam?

its not the crank angle sensor. its a 95 so it has seperate cam and crank sensors. there is power and ground to the sensore but no output of the hall effect.

I didn't check for endplay, I really didn't stare for hours at the sensor but it seemed like it was in good condition. I think there is some type of open within the sensor because while cranking it is showing 0 rpms in the datalist. I wonder if when the balancer broke, throwing chucks of t-belt cover plastic everywhere and jumping teeth of timing is pissed off the sensor.
