I would check out http://www.galantvr4.org. Good ones cost a pretty penny. Most others are pretty beat down by now since they are 18-19 years old by now. Even mine has enough issues that I wouldn't call it a nice example.

A decent GVR4 will run you about $4500 these days. There is one on www.Indystars.org right now in Indy or as Craig said Hit up the Galant forum.

The prices for good ones has gone up but you can get a beat for $1500 but expect to put another $3k into to make it even half way decent.

I want another some day but for now I gotta finish my slushbox 2g.

I know what to expect price wise ive been into dsm's since they were created hell i was the first in FWC DSM to push the low 10's in the 1/4 if my car would have held together i got slips with 1/8 mile times to prove it would have made it and proably the first to brake 500hp and more so i know what to expect just trying to find a line on a local one if possiable or one with in a 100 miles. I bought back one of my larger HP motors due to the guy telling me it was messed up and didnt make any power but the dumb A++ was trying to build 500hp on a 16g and i just laughed but bought it back for half what i sold it to him for. The motor i have is set up to run over 40 PSI buts never see it and i need a 4 door toy since i have a kid. Im on a budget so im just loooking right now but i will own a dsm again.

Travis. There is no reason to come off like you are gods gift to DSM's. We (long time members) gave you two good places to look.

i didnt want to come off like that at all i just dont want all the members who dont know me telling me what i already know thats all ive been into dsm's for some time and if i was gods gift to dsm's my car would have held together for the whole quarter mile instead of blowing apart at the 1/8 almost every time. I just didnt want to hear the some old story i preached about dsm's over and over. And yes i looked and thank you for the resorces there much apricated never been in the market before for a GVR4 and figured some one may have a line one one maby localy istead of scouring the internet for cars that are to far to check out before buying. Im sorry if i ofended you craig Im trying to contact the guy on indystars right now im no longer a member of indy stars but contacted a friend who is and he hooked me up with his info. yes jermy i bought the motor back but not through them second hand through the guy who owns the car now and they feed them a line of bull just to come off the car and the new guy pulled the motor cause it smoked and put a all stock motor in the car from a yard and when i pulled it down the stupid 16g on the motor had so much shaft play it was rediclous. but o well there loss my gain. Like you heard me tell them over and over before that motor would never be any good without a larger turbo.
