It is probably out of phase, causing your shaking.

I might be able to dig deeper into my pocket if someone could come over here and time this car today. To rent a car is expensive for me since I am under 25. Help Help. Please. I have to be in ohio tom after noon. I even got the new timing cover today.

Well I think I found out why I had shaking when I started it up. Right before I left thrusday I went out and put it back at TDC and guess what it was off 4 teeth on the cams. I figured out I might not of let the tensioner sit long enough before starting it. Going to try it again later today and see this time i will let the tensioner sit for a little.

4 teeth? That may be enough that the valves and pistons got to meet. Might want to do a compression test and see if any got bent.

I have no idea how to do that. The exhaust cam was the one that was off as far as I know. As soon as i took the belt off it pop back in place.
