Anybody tried it? known of people? heard stories? What do you guys think of it?

I saw where you can have it done to spark plugs too. the main thing that I would have it done to would be my full head assembly and my flywheel.
I would like to have it done to everything metal, but that would get seriously EXPensive

Not really worth the money unless you're absolutely pushing the limits of what you have and there are no upgrades available beyond that.

Mythical treatment for rifle barrels, -300F, aligns the grain in the steel, kills demons, some kind of esoteric shit. I'm sure it will take .0034 seconds off your .94322 quarter mile time, at 78.4 humidity.

In Fact, I will be having my rifle barrels cryo'ed. I have read some articles from target entheusiasts and they swear by it.
The thing with cryogenics on your vehicle parts is that it slows the molecules down to a state in which they are able to relieve stress from casting, doing so is what makes the molecules pretty much fall into place where they should be. with this stress relieving it strengthens the part already, the other key advantage is the fact that the surface area is greater with lesser pits that fill in (not huge ones of course) which makes it harder to wear. so on parts like the turbine housing and wheel, bearings, and camshafts, pulleys, anything that has a constant friction that you don't like to replace often or is expensive to replace will last much longer. some articles read 300%, or 3 times the duration. Just think of a nice Lightwheight aluminum flywheel that is going to last Much longer with MuCh less warping, a more durable head. Did I mention the faster cooling?

If you believe it's worth the money then go for it. Personally none of those items wear out that fast, or are that expensive to replace. I mean the flywheel is by change the most likely issue and those all have replaceable surfaces anyways.

I wouldn't bother cryo treating bearings either. Hell a new set of rod bearings would cost you less than the shipping and cryo treatment so why bother especially since most of us on this board aren't going to be replacing them on a frequent basis if ever.

yeah, that is true. However, if it wasn't expensive...

...if I had a money tree in the backyard I'd do a lot of things too. I'd worry about making it run before cryo treating anything.
