I personally recommend Safe-lite glass for any kind of glass installation. Did an excellent job on my wifes car.

might want to try Smith and Buckland (the junkyard), parts, and install there is like $120 if I remember, so I'm assuming it will be much cheaper than that for just an install-

Yea, I'm sure it's not as difficult as some people let on, but I would prefer the tools seeing that if I screw it up then the cost of a windsheild is added

They are pretty hard to get out without breaking, especially windshields with curved ends like a 1G.

Good luck.

Easiest way that I have heard of is using piano wire to cut the seal around the edge of the glass. I did this once myself but was not worried about the body of the donor car. Thread the wire through a gap and wrap the wire around wood grips. Cuts it right out with no pressure on the glass if you are carefull.

It also works better with 2 people, one on the inside and one on the outside and use a sawing motion. Just make sure you do it on a warm sunny day or use a heat gun as you go to warm the rubber up. It's a bitch cutting it when it's cold and will most likely crack it.

got a friend that runs a dealership and got me hooked up with his guy.... For $60 he'll come to my house and do the swap, and if it breaks he'll only charge another $60 for a new windsheild too! For that kind of deal I'll be fine not learning that process, lol...
