Evans Toyota has one for sale with 4200 miles on it, black. Sales guy knew nothing about it, offered a test drive, which I should probably take him up on.
Yours for $33,000.

I'm sure Andrew should have seen it since he works there.

It isn't Evans it is FW Toyota in the Auto Mall. I checked it out on Monday. It is nice but it has the Autostick crap and not a true manual. It is the first Evo my wife has seen and actually like.

Yea that's FW Toyota. We don't get to see many cars like that here at Evans We only stock cars that will sell in less than a month. Lame lol We have had 2 EVO VIII's, 1 05 STi, 1 S2K, and a few other rareish cars in my tenure there so far.

Got my Toyotas mixed up, sorry.
Yes, I called girl car when I saw the semiautomatic, but a little surfing has mixed reviews. In full Super Sport mode you have full control of revs and shift points with a flick of the paddle up or down. Evidently in plain drive the twin disk clutch has a lot of lag when just driving. It's all benchracing to me, I'm saving up to get a front end alignment on the Spyder.

The problem comes when you start to make more power than stock. It's not like there are replacement wet clutches out there for the SST at this time, and from what I hear they are pretty weak.

Yes, all the praise has been testing in stock form, usually against a stock STI. The .99g on the skidpad is kind of badass though.

I am really starting to like the Evo X. I don't think it will be a drag car like the previous models but it is still pretty darn quick with minimal mods.

If think of idea of how the clutch work on the X. Mitsubishi did a smart thing since driver dont control clutch just when to shift. This will give the clutch a longer life.
Like on big trucks with automatic numatic shift its a standerd gear shift trany with drive selects a gear numatic actuator control clutch and gear changes.

Drove it Saturday. Very quiet and tight with a whoosh of power and huggy Racaro seats. Salesguy seemed a little nervous as we revved to 7000 getting on the highway, paddle shifter was fun. Totally not fun was put it in drive like a normal automatic and it hesitates to go just driving around, almost like when your transmission fluid is very low. Stop by and try it, it's free, but if I had $33,000 to spend, I would get a Corvette and a Harley. E.

What kind of corvette are you going to get for $33,000 while leaving money left over for a Harley? FYI anything pre-C5 is pretty shitty in comparison to a mildly modded dsm.

I read about the dual clutch in auto mode feeling wonky in a magazine, just wanted to try it, just inherent in the design and will most likely get refined over time. Mitsu trying to climb up to Ferrari, Benz, Audi status. Car looked showroom, salesguy said former owner was "not allowed to have it anymore". Bitch. Kyle, saw a 1966 Corvette Roadster for $19,000 with a 327, 325hp 4 speed, 2001 Fat Boy for $10,200 - it'a all about the Benjamins. E.
